I purchased a King James Parallel bible,and it is 2.75 inches thick and the Tri-Fold Organizer (Bible and Book Cover)fit it like a glove and it had many other pockets for storing things in it. Well worth the price. you won't be disapointed when you purchase this item. In fact I purchased two, one for my father in-law.

It may be unintentional, but the dimensions, 12.1 x 8 x 2.7 inches, mean that the external dimensions are that. The size of bible it will hold is only 6 5/8 x 9 1/2. This information should be in the ad. Now I have a bible cover I cannot use which is not cost effective to try to return.
The cover itself looks great and appears to be very high quality.
