This is a two cd set that will work well for the serious musician and hobbyist alike. The first cd consists of 13 tracks. The first 10 are played just by a guitar in the key of G and start off with a tempo of 40 beats a minute and move up to a tempo of 200 beats per minute. The reason for this, as the cd suggests is so that you can try out new licks at slower tempos and work on it until you can master it at a faster tempo. Tracks 11-13 are also in the key of G and are played by an entire backup band. The second cd has 7 tracks in the key of D, 4 tracks in the key of C, 2 tracks in the key of A and another 3 tracks in the key of G. This cd set is designed for use with a diatonic harmonica in the key of C and is designed for practicing licks and postion play. With these cd's and your C diatonic harmonica you could practice in 1st 2nd 3rd and even 4th position. The booklet is sparse and doesn't include any info on the different positions, so pair this with a book such as David Harps Music Theory Made Easy for Blues/Rock Harp, which is designed to teach the different positions, and you will be on your way to expanding your harmonica horizons.
