 | Great blank timeline rating: 5
I've been using this timeline with my children for about 5 years now, and it's still going strong. We use the timeline figures from Homeschool in the Woods, and the kids absolutely love putting them in their Book of Time. The spiral binding of the book is very handy, and allows the book to lie flat. It is also a fairly large book, which allows for many figures to be placed from the same time period. This becomes important at the "busy" historical periods, when there are many notable people and events to commemorate in the timeline. My only complaint is that the cover, made of the same heavy paper as the rest of the book, has fallen off. But now that I'm going to buy another timeline to use with another child, I am unimpressed with the competition, which either uses a binder format, a CD-ROM to print, a wall chart, or a hardbound book format. None of these seem to lend themselves to the ease of use of the spiral-bound Book of Time.
