I bought this CD for two girls (ages 4 & 6) and my husband was very skeptical about it working. After playing it for the kids at bedtime a few times, we found it to be a really effective way to help put our kids to sleep. Now when we put it on, our 4 year old calms down and is asleep right away, even on nights where she is really wound up. Our 6 year old really enjoys the stories, so listens to more than her sister, but it does help her calm down. Most nights they fall right asleep. I highly recommend this CD!

I am teaching an art class for children in a shelter for abused/homeless women and kids. One of my goals was to find a short guided meditation to do with the children first, to relax them and make them feel special and whole before we began a creative art-making exercise. I found this 'Mermaids and Fairy Dust' audio cd and it is PERFECT! I have listened to several of the meditions and found myself following along. I could and would listen to this for my own use/relaxation. Not just for kids, this cd is a wonderful tool to open one's mind to being calm, open, centered and especially open to creativity afterward! Yay! A real find.
