Bassoonist Marc Vallon performs compositions by Alexandre Tansman, Ginette Keller, Pierre–Petit, Philippe Hersant, José Luis Campana, and his own Cantus for solo bassoon, a free variation on a simple cantus in the style of the Renaissance masters. Violist Sally Chisholm and pianist Todd Welbourne accompany Vallon on several tracks.
