Emelia Fox is very enjoyable to listen to in her reading of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. She is very familiar with the content and its expression, having played the part of Georgiana Darcy in the, now famous, A & E production of the film version of this book. There is at least one unfortunate mistake in her reading which Naxos should not have over-looked. It is the mis-reading of the work "innocent" as "ignorant" on the last CD, and alters the meaning of Darcy's compliment, rendering it senseless. One is left wondering how many times this type of error slips by, which the listener does not catch, in other Naxos productions.

This is a long book, but a great romantic classic. I enjoyed the audio version as I spent long hours on the highway. Well narrated.

Emilia Fox is an absolutely amazing reader. She has really nice accent and voice and she creates very lively and good characters with her voice. It is very easy and enjoyable to follow who is who.
The audiobook itself is 11 CDs, it comes in a box and has small booklet with chapters titles. I can definitely recommend it.
