Kodak KE60 Easy Load 35mm Camera

Kodak KE60 Easy Load 35mm Camera

Kodak KE60 auto focus camera's convenient EasyLoad feature makes film loading a snap! The camera's stylish design also provides built-in red-eye reduction, with additional help from a red-eye reduction lamp - giving you even better pictures of your favorite people. Its close focus capability and other special features will bring you even closer to the special people in your life!KE60's three-zone auto focus system helps you take sharply focused pictures in a range of situations. Focus lock allows you to place your clearly-focused subject anywhere in the picture. For those situations where you really want to get in close, KE60 lets you take pictures as close as 1.5 feet (0.5 meters). Although it will focus this close automatically, you can also choose Portrait Mode to ensure a great planned close-up picture - the camera will enter the close-focus zone no matter how far away the subject, and if its distance exceeds 3 feet, a red light will warn of poor focus. KE60 also features infinity focus lock. In-the-Picture Indicator (IPI) is perfect when using the self-timer or simply when photographing large groups, this feature ensures that everyone who should be in the picture is in the picture. If you can see the red lamp, you're in the picture! Whether you've dimmed the lights to take a photo of a birthday cake or you're in bright light that makes the LCD hard to read, the backlight feature makes it easy to set the camera to take the best pictures possible.Proprietary to Kodak, EasyLoad takes the worry out of film loading. Just slide the film tip in and place the cartridge in the camera - no need to pull out the film leader, no worries about improper loading! Your pictures are safe - never worry again about accidentally opening the film door and ruining your film. The film door automatically locks after loading film into the camera and cannot be opened again until the film is safely rewound. An indicator changes color for extra verification that the door is locked.

Kodak KE60 Easy Load 35mm Camera
User Reviews
Only Good For a Short Time
rating: 2

I purchased this camera at the end of 2004 because the price was unbeatable. The place was trying to get rid of its 35mm cameras to make room for new digital cameras. At first, I was totally pleased with the quality of the pictures and the easy loading of the film. However, after only 2 uses the camera began to malfunction. When I try to load the film now, it won't accept it and the display on the back of the camera won't stop flashing. I can turn the camera off but once I turn it back on, the display on the back continues to flash, not allowing me to do anything at all. Glad I didn't pay the actual retail price for this camera. I was terribly disappointed because the first set of photos I took came out unbelievably beautiful. I woudn't recommend this camera at all.

Beautiful Pics, Easy to Use
rating: 4

I've had my camera for almost two years now and I've been very happy with it! The pictures turn out beautifully, no matter the lighting. It's very easy to use with great features. If you're just looking for a simple film camera with great quality, this is it.

Good Camera gone Bad
rating: 3

This camera was fine and it took really good pictures and they came out well. But then the camera's battery went dead and the camera was jammed in the middle of rewinding then I finally got the film out but it all out and every picture I took was ruined. Then when I put a new roll in the camera the film went all the to the end of the so I couldn't use it again.

Film winding does not work
rating: 1

I read the reviews of this camera before buying it and I had hoped that the ones about the film winding system not working properly were wrong. However, after taking less than 10 rolls of film with the camera the film got stuck inside and would not wind. I took out that roll and tried other rolls that also got stuck in the camera. I e-mailed Kodak and asked for a refund and they said that they could only send me a replacement. I really don't want a replacement if there is a good possibility that it won't work because of poor design.

Unhappy Customer
rating: 1

I bought my camera the latter part of 2002. It is the Kodak Easy Load 35mm camera. I am very unhappy with it. I have not used it a dozen times yet. So,it is still new. I use the same kind of film everytime that I use the camera. The film is stuck in the camera and will not come out. This would not be a problem except the pictures that I have on the roll are the people that I have worked with for 12 yrs and our company is closing. I will NEVER buy another camera from you. I am so disgusted and upset that I have lost valuable pictures.
