Necessary tool

This pre-filter is necessary to make my Honeywell air purifier work optimally. And it does. I have just purchased 3 Honeywell purifiers, and have not replaced this pre-filter yet. But, I can tell that my house is less dust filled, and more importantly, less cat hair filled. That was my goal, and I reached it!

Difficult to cut

The filter came as a large sheet. For my Honeywell Enciracaire the large sheet needs to be cut into 8 stripes. Although there are perforations on the sheet, but the lines are not continuous, therefore difficult to cut straight.

I have ordered these before.These True Honeywell pre filters are far superior (thicker, easier to cut and less messy) to generic prefilters. I mistakenly got some prefilters in the past that were not made by Honeywell.The ad may say "prefilters for Honeywell Hepa Fiters". It can be tricky. Make sure the ad says "Honeywell prefilters".

I installed this filter on my whole house filtration system and it works great, I especially like the perforated seams every two inches. There was no need to measure and cut. I would highly recommend this product.

got to say it is good, and i have a piece left so when i buy anouther i will have a full piece it is like buy two get one free...
