| User Reviews | | Brings back memories of the early 90s! rating: 5
I may have an unfair rating on this set because I used to watch these movies ALL the time when I was younger; I was definitely obsessed. But aside from that I think that the movies are actually not that bad. The first movie is a good representation of the original storyline (with a few differences), and is overall a pretty good movie. The second movie was pretty good, not as good as the first but still decent. The third just seemed like they wanted to continue the series so they threw it together; not too bad but also not the best. I think that people who weren't into Ninja Turtles or into other 80s/90s cartoons (or comics) wouldn't really like these movies but if you're willing to buy them these movies are a great gift for kids.

TMNT Box Movie Set rating: 5
I love this item. I had the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies on VHS, but I never had the third movie. Now that I had purchased the complete box set, I can watch all three movies without waiting for the third movie to be on the television or borrow it from a family member or a friend.

Could have been better but pretty satisfying. rating: 4
Everyone should agree that the 1st film is the best, with its dark tone but still very funny and quirky. the 2 and 3 are just plain kids stuff. it's kinda hard to watch them again, especially when you're 26. fortunately nostalgia compensates all that. one big letdown of course is the extras..not much going on there. i could only imagine how good the set would be if they had more stuff. i don't know, commentaries like the TMNT dvd which was very fun to listen to, behind the scenes etc etc.but all we have are a bunch of old trailers and lame features. the 4 stars are solely based on the great shape the films are. if you miss these films, then i suggest you buy this collection while it's pretty cheap. cowabunga.....

Heroes On The Half Shell On The Cheap rating: 3
Not to be confused for a collection digitally remastered for sound and picture quality, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3-Pak simply bundles the previously released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) into one handy, reasonably priced boxed set. I knew this going into the purchase, and so should you. With the exception of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the best of the three films) which features the same grainy-at-times video quality of the VHS edition (if not more), the films look pretty good and sound nice in 5.1 Dolby Surround. Features include Widescreen and Fullscreen versions of the films; Closed Captions; English subtitles; Animated Menus; Interactive games; Character biographies; and Trailers. I picked up this collection on the cheap following the big screen release of the CGI-animated feature film TMNT (2007). Until someone gets wise and release a remastered collection, this Turtles 3-Pak is a good, cheap way to preserve the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy on DVD.
