I think this is a wonderful product. I actually purchased two. They also look good on the counter, along with easy to put together. Just make sure the bottom cover is on when you fill LOL.

Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover

I thought this container would be the answer to all my cereal dispensing problems. The description I read said that it measured the cereal out for you...which it does not. There is nothing that says, "1 turn of the wheel equals ___ cups." Furthermore, like other customers, I noticed that the wheel crushes the food (I used Cheerios). Not only did it crush them, when they actually came out of the dispenser some of them shot out the sides and landed all over the counter. As far as freshness goes, I really didn't use it long enough to find out. That may be the one bright side, though, I mean it has to be fresher than keeping it in the box and the top lid seems pretty tight. I will definitely be returning this product.

Good but messy!

As the other reviewers commented, you have to rotate the handle only 1/4 turn back and forth and slowly to get the cereal out or else it gets caught in the paddles and shoots out. Most people think you get turn the handle quickly one way to get the cereal out.

The dispenser is very nice for storing cereal in and easy to use. It does however make a little mess when turning the cereal out of it into a bowl. Still it was well worth it.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. USE TUPPERWARE UNTIL SOMEONE MAKES THIS PRODUCT PROPERLY...
