I LOVE THE OLD TIME MOVIES LIKE MA AND PA AND SHIRLEY TEMPLE. THEY ARE SOME OLD TIME MOVIES THAT I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING ON A RAINY AND OR SNOWING DAY. I LOVE THEM.

Again from my youth remembered the laughts and they were still there. I also purchased Vol 1 of Ma & Pa Kettle and now have both in my collection. Love the old movies from my youth they tell the story they way a story should be told. I had my 6 year old granddaughter over the other day and we together watched two of the Ma & Pa Kettle movies she was taken aback that they were in black & white so after I explained that's what all movies used to be like we settled down and both enjoyed watching. Did promise next time she visited we would watch some more.

movies made in this era, that is what i call entertainment, i never understood why todays violent movies serve as entertainment....
these are the movies parents should be showing their children, so they can be entertained, not de-sensitized to violence by what they view today.
i enjoyed watching these films, not just for nostalgia, i was entertained, marjorie main and percy kilbride are a perfectly matched pair and great to watch, and with all the children, gives you a warm sense of family...
i hope everyone who buys this disc enjoys it as much as i did..four movies, well worth the cost, ( compared to the price of a movie theater for a family )...this is a much better product, timeless, and can be viewed again from time to time....
