I have been unhappy with this AIO from day one. It prints okay, but ditto other reviewer's complaint about envelopes. Scanner software incompatible with IE 7.0 and the "fix" doesn't help at all. I have to scan from the Start-printers & faxes - scanners & cameras - etc. to do any scanning. And paper jas all the time if tray is full.
All-in-all, not worth the price - especially compared to my old HP multi-function. I kick myself every time I think that I got rid of it for THIS!!!

Do not buy the HP OfficeJet 9130! rating: 1
Let's start off with that I gave it one-star because because I had to rate it...it deserves zero stars.
I ordered the HP OfficeJet 9130 for my small office (I am a lawyer in solo practice). I thought I was buying a decent printer (in color for the red-lining), a multi-functioning machine with printer, copier, scanner, and fax all-in-one. I figured that because this was offered on the HP Small/Medium Business site, it would be a good machine that would grow with my solo legal practice.
After setting it up, I printed out an e-mail...and to my horror, the print quality was terrible. The lettering looked messy, fuzzy, and like it had been printed from a 10-year-old ink-jet printer. I adjusted all the features to try to make the "best" print quality possible and still the printout was terrible. As a lawyer, printing out documents is my "product" and I could never send out documents looking as terrible as this printer was printing. I made a few copies (hoping at least that feature would be better) and it still looked uncrisp and amateur-like.
I also bought a cable and an extra cartridge...so I had paid over $1,100 for this printer. I could have gotten the same results from an ink-jet from the Salvation Army.
I did not try to scan or fax, as I was not going to have a $1,000 fax machine/scanner.
OfficeJet 9130 is inadequate for any business that wants to project an image of quality or sophistication. I would not let my second grader turn in a paper printed on OfficeJet 9130.
Beware of OfficeJet 9130 - Do NOT buy it. Let my mistake be a lesson to you. I am returning the printer, but will still be stuck with the original $52 shipping costs and charged $15 for restocking. Customer Service told me that they are sorry that this was the wrong product for me and I did not need it. This is the wrong product for most.
Make sure if you need a printer (with all-in-one features) buy a laser-jet and not an office-jet.
Lawyer-out two weeks time without a printer and 2 hours on the phone with customer-no-service.

Jammed on first use, poorly constructed rating: 1
I went to Fry's Electronics to try a demo.
Using a 9130 unit, I tried to print one page, and it jammed.
Then i examined the unit front panel and discovered 2 manufacturing defects.
This looks like a poorly built printer.

Slow and klunky document scanning rating: 2
Had HP-3015 multifunction, but wanted color so spent $1000 for HP-9130. This has stupid scanning software and scanning is 10th as fast compared to HP-3015. Slow printing and copying too. Get a demo before buying!!!

Everything great except paper feeder rating: 3
I purchased this to replace an HP G-85 all in one, and for the most part im extremely pleased.
The scanner function is nothing short of fantastic! once you set up the network card (standard for the 9130) you just hit scan and a speed dial button that you previously configured that points to a folder on your computer; thats it, the printer scans, converts to pdf, and stuffs it over the network and onto your computer! saves me unbelievable amounts of time compared to my old all in one printer.
print function is also good, but it doesnt do the stated ppm. good enough for most things, but i would like somewhat faster.
the one problem i have is paper tray #2. it just doesnt feed right, and it apparently is a design problem. when i use heavier paper, such as the HP bright white 24#, it jams. and jams. and jams. HP was very helpful sending me a new paper tray, new printer, and finally new duplexer (essentially replacing everything), but no luck; it still jams. must be a poor design. the lighter paper seems to work ok (20#) and i had two people at hp help line tell me to use that (sounds like the older doctor line "my arm hurts when i do this", and the doctor replies "then dont do that".) But the HP literature states it will work with bright white 24#, and i bought it based on this ability, so this is a big problem for me.
one other annoyance is that this seems to be the only hp printer ever to not have an envelope slot to feed a single envelope. so if you want envelopes you need to take out the paper in tray #1 and replace with envelopes. you could put envelopes in tray #1 all the time, and bright white in tray #2, but see above regarding feeding issues; this is what i had planned to do!
overall it works well, but with the annoyances stated above, if i could send it back i would.
