I bought these because I needed to attach male ends of the cables together. Since it is not otherwise easily possible without cutting and splicing, I felt this was the only option. Since its not rocket science, it works perfectly.

It just works

This is a simple product that solves a simple problem - I need to run RCA audio cables across the room from three different sources to the receiver. Rather than have three sets of extra long cables, I have one long cable that ends with the Belkin PureAV RCA Audio Coupler, and I just swap the source cables onto the Belkin PureAV RCA Audio Coupler as needed.
