| User Reviews | | I looked like a prostitute by the end of the night. rating: 1
I love to try out new mascaras and I fell for all the hype with this product. I have oily skin and I usually wear waterproof mascara or mascara that boasts staying power. BADgal lash was very thick going on and my lashes looked almost fake. I had it on all day and went out after work. Several times through the day I had to remove my raccoon eyes with a tissue. By the end of the night, it looked awful. I tried the mascara several times after that and made sure to only apply a little, but it would still melt by the end of the night. I tried Fiberwig mascara shortly after ditching my BADgal lash and was much happier.

Smudge-Free, Thick BLACKEST Black Lashes rating: 5
I love the color-- it's the blackest black I've ever used and makes my lashes look like they are wearing sleek and sexy black, patent leather stillettos. One drawback, the ultra large brush takes a little getting used to.

Big Lashes! rating: 4
Probably one of my favorite mascaras. It does tend to smudge so I don't wear it on my lower lashes, but it give me very full and long lashes.

Only mascara I use. rating: 5
I've used this mascara for at least 3 years now, and that's as long as I've known it.
I LOVE this stuff. The mascara accentuates my eyelashes and makes them appear even longer than they are. I haven't tried any other mascara since.

Very Good but not Oustanding rating: 4
Overall, I do think this is a nice, high-end mascara. I have decent-length lashes to start with, and this mascara emphasized them dramatically as anticipated. It is much better than anything you could get at a drug store. It's a nice product but I wouldn't quite say it's unprecedented. It has beeswax in it, which fights clumps and drying. But I didn't get quite the "fake-lashes" result I was promised. People who are shocked and awed by the performance of this product were probably used to mediocre drug-store mascaras. The price is a bit high - $20. I would personally price it at $12 to $15. It has it's pros and cons, and I will outline them here:
Pros:
- Dramatic, lush results
- Contains beeswax - no crunchy, tarantula lashes
- Backed by the quality Benefit name
- Performs better and lengthens much more than drug-store brands
Cons
- Comes off *extremely* easily with water. Maybe too easily.
- It's a bit expensive
- Product ends up on upper lids almost every time
Business-wise, Sephora shipped my order promptly and accurately as promised. Product-wise, it's a quality product, but it might be worth it to try a few other high-end brands as well. I might try M.A.C. next.
