This brightly-striped nylon strap cinched around a suitcase or box makes identification quick and easy at the airport luggage carousel. The strap’s unique feature is the ratchet tightening device: by raising and then ratcheting the lever, the strap tightens considerably, keeping even an about-to-burst suitcase securely closed. Pressing on the lever locks it shut. A button on the device needs to be pressed in order to release the strap, which prevents accidental opening in transit.
