Let's face it, how many bells and whistles do we really need? This notebook suits just fine for everyday use, e-mail, browsing, music downloads, etc. I have used this unit 1 1/2 years, no problems at all. I expected some issues because the unit was so inexpensive, and friends have had power button/ keyboard function problems with HP/Compaq notebooks, but I that may have been due to rough care. As I said this was the most basic unit with a sempron processor, XP home, and 1.5g memory.It is quiet, display is clear, keyboard feel is quite good. (runs a little warm after an hour or so) Leftovers of this model may still be available, and a cared for used unit would be desirable in my opinion, just watch the plastic case, it seems thin. (but it is light and portable) All considered a great value, from a major company.
