Just got this item about 15 minutes ago. I have to agree with everyone else in that there is an extremely tight fit, but it's worth it. Seems like it will protect it very well. Kind of got stuck when I first tried putting it on, but I got it. I had the jam jacket soft case for my ipod before this one, and that was horrible. I've had many cases, and I don't reccommend soft cases to anyone.

this is hands down the best case for the mini. i am thinking of getting it for the nano (if i ever get one - the mini's still the best imo). i love how you can use the existing clip - that's the biggest selling point for me. only thing i wish this case had is some sort of protection for the click wheel.

Wow, I don't think that I have ever been this disappointed by a mail order item before. The case is really poorly constructed. It is two thick pieces of plastic. I couldn't get the two parts to stay together. It is really was low-rent compared to the very nice iPod itself. It reminded me more like product packaging than an actual product. This probably costs $1 to manufacture. I bought a lovely iSkin at a local Apple store. Which is an excellent alternative.

First off I hate soft cases, so when I saw this I was overjoyed. Unfortunately I procrastinated in buy this case and my mini got a giant scratch on the screen. Determined to not let this happen again i bought a liquid scratch repair kit, which did absolutely nothing, and this case which has been great in protecting my ipod. I can get it on and off very easily and I have gotten many comments about how cool it looks. Unfortunately this case scratches like nothing else. After only keeping this in my pocket for about a week the entire thing is scratched, but I guess it's better than having my mini scratched. So overall it is a great case, which I will never regret buying.

good one to get for iPod Mini - there's a trick to take it off.

I got this cover after reading about it that it gives trouble comming off. But i remove it frequently by using the small plastic USB connector cover provided with impressive packaging of iPod connector cable. Just push the iPod from buttom (from USB connector socket) with the help of USB connector cover and your iPod is out of the case.
It has been 4 months now that i had bought my iPod with the cover and still my iPod mini is scratch free. Thanks to iSee.
