This is a terrific device to open your bottle tops, pop top cans and jars.
The difficulty with bottle tops is that the plastic seal joins the screw off cap with a ring around the bottle neck. This opener provides enough torque to easily break that seal.
You may think that pop top cans are easy to open. But often the ring on top of the aluninum can sits pretty close to the top surface so that it's hard to insert a finger or finger nail into that tight space. This opener has a special slot that will easily insert into that pop top tab and open it in a flick.
Jar lids are often hard to open because the jars are vacuum sealed. This opener has a side notch that will easily pry open the jar lid yet not damage it. Thus the lid can be screwed back on tightly onto the jar.

This gadget is great for opening all types of small neck bottles: the type your wife brings you because you are a "he-man" and she cannot open. I am now no longer needed to open these bottles because she has this bottle opener. I have since purchase several of these to give as gifts when I see a friend or family struggling to untwist a top. I am now no longer a "he man" but I do not risk the damage to my reputation when I cannot open a particularly tight screw top. I recommend this product without reservation.
