While these eight plastic Grace tumblers make ideal high-ball or old-fashioned glasses, they are too appealing to keep in the cupboard when it's time for lemonade or iced tea on the patio or deck. Available in clear or tinted sets, the see-through tumblers look remarkably like glass. But, because they're made of virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, there's no worry about knocking them over onto hard surfaces or dropping ice cubes into them.

This set includes four 19-ounce tumblers that stand six inches high and four 14-ounce tumblers that stand five inches high. All measure approximately 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the mouth, and are stackable. In keeping with their name, the tumblers taper gracefully from a weighted base and feel substantial and durable. Great cups for the kids, guests, anyone!

I originally purchased these tumblers for our kids to use. I wanted something that was unbreakable (for the kids), but also something that would withstand the dishwasher (our old "kid" cups cracked after two runs in the dishwasher...they were cheapies from Target).

These tumblers are great. The smaller size in the set is ideal for little hands, but my kids use the bigger ones as well. They've been dropped several times without breaking/cracking. HOWEVER, we did have one that was sitting full of water in the sink, and someone dropped a heavy butter knife into the cup. This created a small crack on the inside of the tumbler; the crack does not go all the way through, so we still use the tumbler.

Overall, these tumblers are great as an unbreakable option for kids. We've had friends over for dinner and sometimes they actually prefer to drink out of these versus our regular glass tumblers. With their modern design, they will work well out on the patio this summer as well! My only word of caution is to not drop heavy silverware directly down into them (kind of a no-brainer there), otherwise they WILL crack.

They look like glass from a distance, and have a very substantial feel to them as well. We initially ordered one set, but after they arrived we ended up ordering another one! They've withstood the dishwasher AND my kids. I highly recommend these to everyone.
