Great product, especially for travel

I had the chance to use one of these a couple of years ago, but didn't end up buying one at that time. However, I recently made an extended trip to Africa, and wanted something portable with decent sound quality. Against my knowledge of this product, I purchased a JBL unit and took it with me. The JBL ATE the AAA batteries! After a couple of hours, the batteries were totally dead - I spent a small fortune on batteries. This unit uses double As, and it will run on those batteries alot longer than the JBL unit, I believe they advertise 24 hours on a fresh set of batteries, but I haven't tested that, but I do know that it's close. Not only that, but the sound on the JBL couldn't compare to this item. I ended up giving the JBL away and bought this one when I got home.

AND.... the JBL does not pack up as small as this one does. This unit folds up into a small square, about the size of a paperback book. A great item in the mid price range.

The JBL is a prettier unit (although it scratched and looked old after about 3 days of use), but if sound quality is what you are looking for, as well as one that is portable, this is the product to get.

I the iM3C primarily while traveling. It fits nicely in a backpack and the sound is better than what you would expect for the size. It runs on AC or DC current, which is nice for those remote areas where you want more than the tiney sound of smaller systems. A couple of weeks ago I used it at a beach campfire and it was great. If you don't need to fill a large area with music, you can't go wrong. The remote leaves a bit to be desired (the base does not respond well to the remote), but otherwise I have no complaints and recommend it.

I really like this portable audio system for the ipod. It comes equipped for battery or electrical use. The unit folds flat for portability and includes a soft carrying case and adaptor plates for different ipod units. Be sure to adjust the EQ on your ipod and the sound is really good for such a small unit.

I was veiwing my options for shipping when all of a sudden I was told my order was complete. I did not intend to order this item today. When I finally talked to someone on the phone, I was told that I could not cancel the order. This is very poor customer service.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It sounds awesome! We both love it. We have the older Ipod Nano and it works perfect.
