| User Reviews | | Will not come off ... that's for sure! rating: 4
I've been using Dior mascara for a long time and decided it was time to try something new. I went into Sephora and asked the sales woman what she would recommend that's a bit similar. She showed me a few but Fiberwig caught my attention because I had heard of it before and the brush is nice and big like Dior's. I decided to try it. I must say that it does make it look like I have more lashes than I had ever imagined. It separates all of them, even the tiny ones! It also sure does NOT come off!!! I have swam, showered, washed my face, cried, and sweat in this stuff (not all at the same time of course, haha) and it DID NOT come off!!! It's even a bit difficult to get off. What I have found works well to get it off is to use warm to hot water and use a downward motion on your eyelashes so the "tubes" work their way off. I really like that about this mascara though. I used to look like I didn't put on any makeup after work, now it's still on! You also have to coat the bottom of the lashes (like you normally would) as well as doing the top of them. It's kind of awkward at first but you'll get better results. Takes me about three coats to get it just right.
Great product and would/will buy again! My only complaints are that they need to include an instruction booklet as well as make it so it adds more volume. It tends to straighten out my lashes so curling them is essential.

Yikes! what a disappointment! rating: 1
Pro: elongates & separates lashes
Con: 1) Microfibers from the mascara itself fall INTO your eyes! One of my eyes was certainly not comfortable with those microfibers in it; 2) The mascara is too thin. Though it does separate your lashes, it does not give the illusion of more volume; 3) It's hard to take off. Even with oil-based eye makeup remover or warm/hot water, It is REALLY hard to take the mascara off. On top of that, it strips off your natural lashes as it is so hard to remove. Because once the microfibers dry, they harden and your lashes become really stiff.
Summary: What a disappointment. I even had my friend got it for me all the way from Tokyo and she told me that it's all over in Japan. No one does not know Fiberwig and yet it's a disaster. Out of all the mascaras I've tried, L'oreal's Double Extension is the best - even Dior can't beat it!

MY FAV MASCARA rating: 5
I am a mascara junky. I am always on the look out for the best new thing when it comes to mascara. This mascara is great because it atcually lengthens your lashes. After two swipes you have dramaticaly longer lashes. The only flaws I would say that this mascara has is that the shade of black could have been darker and I wish it would make my lashes look fuller as much as it makes them look longer. Sometimes I'll layer it over another mascara to make them fuller and longer.

Interesting... rating: 3
I did not like this at first because I have long lashes and I was looking for a more of a volumizing mascara and this does not volumize at all... It does however, seperate and lengthen considerably. It gives a very pretty feathered doll eye look. I did not have problems with fallout or clumping but it is still fairly new. I've found that if you really take the time to curl your lashes well and put this on carefully you will get a very pretty look...but unfortunately I don't think it's worth anywhere near 20 dollars and I will not repurchase this as I'm sure that there are other mascaras that can do the same thing for much cheaper.
pros: It's the best eyelash seperating mascara that i have ever used and the length is good.
cons: does not volumize and price is atrocious.

No smudges, ever! rating: 5
I bought this in Japan and am so happy it is available now in the States! I was hoarding my extra tubes for a while. I also have the smaller brush for corner lashes, but I don't think that is available in the US yet.
If you are familiar with Kiss Me/Blinc mascara (also from Japan) Cargo's Texas Lash, or Lancome's now defunct Magicils, you will understand this product better.
I have very oily skin and any other type of mascara ends up in my skin by the end of the day. I mean "in" not "on," as in stuck inside my pores and won't come out even with intense scrubbing, water proof make-up remover or anything else I've tried. It takes three days for regular mascara to wind its way out of my skin.
So if this is your problem too, this mascara is you answer!
