Brought this movie pack and the other John Wayne Legend Movie Pack for my elder aunts and uncle and my mother....they just enjoy watching John Wayne in his westerns and they hadn't seen these in a long time...In this movie pack, nine of the movies are in B&W, almost an hour long each, and from the 1930's and the 10th movie (Angel and the badman) is in b&w, from the 1940's, and almost 2 hours long....we put these on to play when is nothing else that they can find to watch on TV, since TV is their primry source of entertainment because of their inability to move around...I would recommend this movie pack and the other movie pack.

"The American West Of John Ford" was a made for TV documentary about the legendary filmmaker, with alternating host duties carried out by Wayne, Henry Fonda and Jimmy Stewart. Filmed on-site at Monument Valley, it's easy to see the long-established camaraderie among these actors as they reminisced with their former director about his production company and days gone by. Ford was clearly looking frail and on the decline, which undoubtedly prompted this retrospective tribute.
The ten public domain movies here have all been previously released by this and other manufacturers. For anyone who may not have John Wayne's earliest westerns, this bargain-priced collection is a great place to start.
