Great story, great character, but just one of many you'll find in Freddie's two books. I'd recommend buying both of them. You might just improve your pool game along the way. Very enjoyable.

Gar, The Iron Man is a great read as I knew it would be. I have had the pleasure of hearing many of his true stories over the years. If you see anything written by Mr. Bentivegna (Freddy the Beard) you can't go wrong to pick it up. Even if your not a pool player, most will enjoy his adventures. If you are a pool player reading his book Banking with the Beard will bring your game up more than a few notches. John W. Terrell
