This case is too big for the Garmin 270. It is not snug. It does not close with a zipper. It is too big to carry on a belt. It will not carry out the function of protection. It is too bulky vs. the portability of the Garmin 270. I finally chose a camera case at Best Buy that suits it perfectly by CaseLogic for US$ 10. It protects it against moisture, dust and is small enpugh to carry in backpack, briefcase or compact suitcase. It is completely padded as well. Of course, for the price, premium leather is an overstatement as well.

The navigon leather case is very nice.Your gps stays in the case and can not slide out.Whitch I had happen with standard cases.Very good product.

Initially I was worried it was going to be too big for my TomTom One 3rd edition GPS however it fits snuggly in the case, allowing for great portability.
