| User Reviews | | Not Your Little Sister's Diary rating: 5
This story scared the living daylights out of me. I never even considered some of the things that people can do to one another, but this story sure did. The reader is invited to follow the writer from early childhood. You begin to understand how a killer is made. What's even worse is that he takes a friend along for the ride although not very willingly. The two become so engrossed in their killing, they lose track of reality. Then you get to the ending you never saw coming.
If you desire some horror in your life with a twist of irony, try this story out. I couldn't put it down.

If horror is your thing... rating: 3
With a twist in the last chapter to keep you on your toes, this short story fills the need for suspense with horror entwined. The main character is one you'll "love to hate." Includes enough details to make the fiction seem like it could come from the nightly news. The story carries the reader from the main character's precociously-corrupt youth to his sociopathically-murderous adulthood, exposing his terrible deeds along the way. The main character's sidekick, Tommy, is prodded along for the horrific ride...up to a certain point.

Don't Sleep Alone After This One rating: 5
This has to be one of most terrifying stories I've ever read. I thought I had been there and done that until now. Surprisingly the author pulls off the entire story without resorting to unnecessary language. The detail into the mind of a deranged man is very fascinating. Now I understand how an otherwise ordinary child can grow up to be a gruesome killer.
The story begins when the killer was still young and presumably innocent. Through time you find out just what makes a serial murderer become a sociopath. And then I never saw the ending coming. I just hope I never have to meet anyone like that in real life.
I do have a warning for you: Don't sleep alone after you read it. And take care of your children, because one day they may return the favor.
If you want suspense wrapped around a nice tail of murder and horror, you've come to the right place. You won't put this down until it's over. And then you'll be looking over your shoulder the next day.
