I purchased this item at sephora and after I applied it to my skin then used my concealer, there was no difference in the way my concealer blended, nor did it make my skin look flawless. I will not purchase this product again.

Would be perfect except for the smell

I used to use the Smashbox clear primer but shifted when the local beauty store told me they just got the one for oily skin. It's great, you can really finish off the whole bottle (the tube thing of the original clear primer sometimes does not reach the bottom and I have to use Q-Tips to fish out the last sixth part of the bottle) because of the airless pump. The thing is that is has a glue-y kind of smell, slightly sour, but it has not caused me to break out unnecessarily. The clear primer has a slight chemical smell, but disappears after application. This goes only after you put on foundation. Still, it does the job and is even lighter in feel than the clear primer.
I'm currently finishing a bottle of Bare Escentuals primer; I will return to Smashbox Light.

I love this product. I was first introduced to it by QVC. I bought a bottle and I am still using it from a year ago. I am on my last few drops so I ordered this one. The price is better then the competitor and but the shipping is kind of high for such a small package. I love this product as it makes my makeup go on easier and lasts longer.
I would reccommend this to anyone. But i'm not thrilled with the shipping charges.

I use Monistat chafe relief powder gel as a primer and it works great at controlling oil, they're whole lot cheaper and works just as well. Dimethicone is the main ingredient and a key for a primer.

Smooth on magic for oily skin

This is my husbands' account, he's so sweet to get me stuff on amazon, he's sweeter for letting me write reviews on his account. Anyways
>This primer is excellent! It's weightless on my skin, smoothes my skin really nice so my makeup goes on easily and evenly. I look alot more natural now than when I didn't use primer under my makeup. I have combination to normal skin and I breakout when I'm stressed so I decided to get Photo Finish Primer Light instead of the original. I don't wear foundation, I just use conclealer over this primer and use powder to set everything.
>If you have really oily skin and need to wear makeup, I suggest you use this product with Smashbox Anti-Shine Powder-Gel in neutral. It helps with the shine all day long making you look fresh and matte.
>Usually I wouldn't spend $$$ for cosmetics but this product is worth it, even though the bottle is small (only 1 fl. oz.). You don't have to use alot to cover your entire face, just a little pump which equals a dab on chin, forehead, both cheeks and nose does the trick.
>Standard shipping for this product is about 1-7 days, my shipment of this took 5 days. This product is great for photographs, weddings, partys, etc.
