I purchased this laptop about 5 months ago i use it mainly for media and agmes and could not be more pleased with it. i bought it as a floor model so it had its defect and i had to reset the whole thing when i got it but after that i have had no problems lots of usb ports great refresh rates built in WI-FI dvd/cd burner/ memory card slots all great. lots of memeory i purchased an external 350gb hard drive just because i needed it but for normal use just great comes with vista which at first i found annoying but after a month i dont even notice the updates because you can set them up to happen when you are sleeping.. great computer for the price hell of a deal. i would recomend to anyone.

Avoid Gateway like the bubonic plague!!

Do NOT buy a Gateway computer. They are toxically bad. AVOID!!! I needed to recover my computer and could not find the recovery CD. They charged me $20 for a new one. Then I found out that if you buy a Gateway anywhere but the Gateway site they make you call a 408 long distance number for support. Talk about screwed up! And to top it off, if your computer is out of waranty, they won't even tell you how to boot it off a cd, nothing. They won't talk to you unless you pay them. From now on I will go nowhere near Gateway.
